The past 8 weeks of being an intern, has been an essential rewarding part of my marketing education.I would firstly like to THANK all the staff at WAAM for making me feel apart of the team. The friendly environment made me feel comfortable to both ask for help and to help others as everyone worked in a team dynamic. Being a Business Commerce (Marketing) student, interning at WAAM taught me so many new skills that I will use to further my marketing career. In my time here I have worked on many client projects, this allowed me to see the beginning of projects from the first idea to implementation. WAAM has given me the opportunity to apply my knowledge in marketing in a practical setting and has therefore given me the essential skills for success in the future. THANK YOU!!! Having my work experience at We’re All About Marketing was very useful & educational. I improved my skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point. I got to update the WAAM website, research the internet and become involved in business development. I also did market research and competitor analysis and learnt how to use the results to improve a business. Everyone took time to explain the difficult aspects of marketing to me in detail & I was welcome to ask questions and discuss any problems I had. Susanna, Raffaella and Colin team treated as if I had been working at WAAM for years. I got to manage my own projects which I could work on at any time. The time at WAAM and so in Australia definitely influenced me about my professional way. At WAAM I learnt an abundance of new things including copywriting, revising websites and writing website content, talking to clients, getting quotes for clients, general filing and receptionist duties, using Microsoft excel and powerpoint.
